In a deterministic simulation a given set of parameters values (inputs) always leads to the same simulation output. Only one simulation is run, and the best estimates given to the parameters are used.

1. Edit simulation settings, including
   1. Start and end time
   2. Time unit
   3. Selection of outputs
2. Select Simulation | Deterministic from the main menu
3. Click the simulation layout button to switch to a set of windows suitable for running a simulation.
4. Open the simulations window which will give you information on simulation progress.
5. Press the on the toolbar to start the simulation.
6. Once the simulation is finished, simulation outputs will be listed in the results window and from here you can create tables and charts of the simulation results.
