Source Sink
A source/sink is an abstraction for a special type of compartment, with either unlimited quantity of the modelled items (materials), from where any quantity can be subtracted and then added to other compartments, or an infinite well to which any quantity can be drawn from a compartment. In short, source/sink blocks represent objects outside of the model and which either feed or pulls materials from compartments.
Note: The source/sink was previously two different objects (‘Source’ and ‘Sink’) which are now merged into one.
