index_lists_window

Index lists window

The index lists window displays all the index lists of the current project. To display this window select Window | Index lists from the menu bar.

From this window you can:

  • Create, edit and delete index lists;
  • Edit properties of an index list;

In a newly created project there are already built-in index lists as explained in the page on index lists. You cannot edit or remove built-in index lists.

Each row in the table details one index list. Click the + symbol to expand an index list and to edit properties of its indices. By default the window displays the following properties: Name and Type. More properties and options can be made available by clicking the button and selecting the desired property from the menu that appears. The same menu can be displayed by right-clicking a column header.

The available properties and options are listed below:

Category The category for the list or index.
DescriptionThe discription of the list or index.
Editable Toggles editabilitiy on or off.

Enabled Used to disable/enable the selected list or index. Name The name of the list or index. Parent The parent index list (if the index list is either a sub-set or is mapped to another list). Type Displays the type of the index list (sub-set, mapped or None) (Not editable) Visible Used to make the list available/not available when viewed in AFRY Intelligent Scenario Modelling Player

Title bar

The title bar has short-cuts for common tasks:

Creates a new index list
Opens an edit dialog window for the selected index list. You cannot edit built-in index lists. Refer to index lists
Deletes all selected index lists from the model. You cannot delete built-in index lists.

Right-click in the window for a pop-up menu.

New Index listLets you create a new index list.
New Sub-set Lets you create a sub-set of the currently selected index list. You cannot create a sub-set of an index list that is already a sub-set.
Edit Opens an edit dialog window for the selected index list.You cannot edit built-in index lists.
Delete Deletes all selected index lists from the model. You cannot delete built-in index lists.
